Introducing Saba Mohsin! Based in Pakistan, Saba is the Digital Marketing Manager at OneStream Live. With a passion for cutting-edge technologies, and a fusion of tech-savvy brilliance and narrative flair, she crafts compelling digital narratives that keep readers on the edge of their screens.

We asked her everything from how she first got into SEO to what empowers her to be the brilliant SEO she is 💪🏽

How did you get into SEO?

I got into SEO when I started working at OneStream Live as a Content Writer. I quickly learned that writing great content wasn’t enough; I needed to make sure it reached the right people. That’s when I got curious about SEO. What started as a bit of side interest became a big part of my job. Now, as a Digital Marketing Manager, SEO is a key part of making sure our content connects with our audience.

What is your favourite SEO task?

My favorite SEO task is working with our video content. Since OneStream Live is all about videos, I love figuring out how to make our videos shine in search results. It’s fun to dig into the data, find the best keywords, and see how our videos perform. Watching the positive impact of these changes, like more views and better engagement, is really satisfying.

What is your go-to tool or resource that you can't live without?

For SEO, Ahrefs is my go-to tool. It’s fantastic for finding the right keywords, tracking our rankings, and checking out what our competitors are up to. When it comes to video creation, which is a big part of our SEO strategy, OneStream Live is essential. It’s not just for live streaming; it also helps us create and record videos. We can add features like custom backgrounds, overlays, and intros and invite guests to join our sessions. Plus, we can schedule these pre-recorded videos to go live on social media or our website at the right time. It’s an excellent tool for making sure our video content is engaging and helps boost our SEO.

What did you learn in SEO that gave you an 'AHA' moment?

For me, it was realizing how much optimizing live streaming videos can boost our SEO. I used to think live streams were just for engaging with our audience in real-time, but I learned that with the right keywords and descriptions, they could really help improve our search rankings. Plus, turning live streams into smaller clips for reels and shorts and optimizing them gave our SEO a great lift.

What is your proudest industry achievement?

I’m proud of representing OneStream Live as the official live-streaming partner for MozCon 2024. It was amazing to be part of such a big event and to showcase what our platform can do. Seeing our work reach thousands of people and help make the event a success was a huge accomplishment for me and my team as a whole.

What advice would you give those starting out in SEO?

If you’re just starting out in SEO, my advice is to keep up with the latest trends and changes. SEO is constantly changing, so follow industry blogs, join forums, and watch webinars to stay updated. This will help you stay ahead and keep your strategies fresh and effective.
