Philadelphia is the largest city in Pennsylvania, situated at the junction of the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers. Known as “the birthplace of America”, it is steeped in history and holds a pivotal place in the narrative of the USA. Our venue is located at 30 South 17th Street in Center City.

Center City is the heart of the city, encompassing a wide range of neighborhoods including the waterfront of Penn's Landing, the historic Old City, the vibrant Gayborhood, and the picturesque Rittenhouse - where #WTSFest London will be hosted this year.

Rittenhouse is home to an array of local boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bars. Not to be missed is the leafy charm of their half-acre park, Rittenhouse Square.

Philadelphia, like most cities, is generally safe in the built-up central areas like where our venue is. However, like any city, there are measures you can take to ensure you keep yourself safe.

  • Ensure your personal belongings are hidden when walking around- pickpocketing can occur in crowded areas, so be vigilant in busy places and popular tourist attractions.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and stay alert, especially when exploring unfamiliar areas late at night.
  • If you plan to enjoy the nightlife, be cautious and use reputable transportation options to return to your accommodation.
  • Public transport in Philadelphia is well connected, frequent and safe- however you are also able to take Ubers and Lyfts around the city, these are generally safe.
